Use Your Words – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline your rights and responsibilities when purchasing and participating in the Use Your Words course.

By enrolling in this course, you agree to the following:

1. Course Access & Delivery

Upon purchase, you will receive lifetime access to the self-paced Use Your Words course, including:

Video modules

Downloadable materials

Bonus content (where applicable)

Access is delivered via a secure online portal. You are responsible for maintaining access to your login credentials and any devices you use to view course materials.

If, for any reason, the course hosting platform changes, you’ll be notified via email with updated access instructions and ongoing support to ensure a smooth transition.

2. Intellectual Property

All course content, including but not limited to videos, templates, slides, text, images, and audio, is the intellectual property of Elizabeth (Lizzie) Mulherin and Create Your Living. This content is licensed for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or shared without written permission.

3. Refund Policy & Guarantee

I offer a 12-month, results-based guarantee because I believe in this course and the value it delivers.

To qualify for a full refund, you must:

Complete 100% of the course

Implement all course exercises and templates

Send out a significant volume of pitches using course strategies — this may mean sending 50–100 pitches or expressions of interest over time (don’t worry, I guide you through every step)

Be able to demonstrate that you've consistently applied the course to your freelance business for 12 consecutive months

If you’ve done the above and haven’t landed any paid writing work within 12 months of enrolment, email [email protected] with proof of completion and documentation of your outreach efforts. Your refund will be processed within 10 business days if eligibility is confirmed.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed in USD and are non-refundable except under the terms outlined in the Refund Policy. Payment plans are available for select offers. If using a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments in full, regardless of course completion status.

5. Results Disclaimer

I do not guarantee specific outcomes or earnings. Results will vary based on individual effort, application of course materials, industry conditions, and other factors beyond my control.

This course provides tools, strategies, and templates that have worked for me and my clients. Your success depends on your action.

6. Community Standards

If the course includes access to any live Q&As, student communities, or coaching components, you agree to participate respectfully and maintain the confidentiality of other students' information. Any abusive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund.
